FOYER DINNER GROUPS ARE FORMING
Foyer Groups are informal groups of parishioners who gather monthly to enjoy each other’s company. There is no agenda or plan — just casual socializing. Members take turns hosting the group in their homes, in the church lounge or sometimes at a local restaurant. Groups are assembled on a random basis and provide a great opportunity to meet and get to know others whom you might not meet otherwise. Groups meet for one year and then are reassembled. New groups are forming now. Sign up in the Parish Hall.

Funeral services for former Epiphany parishioner, Thomas Beckett, will be at Christ Church, Los Altos on 9/8/07 at 2 pm.

Film: GREEN: THE NEW RED, WHITE AND BLUE, Sunday, September 23rd, 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary.
Tom Friedman, New York Times columnist and author of The World is Flat, sets out to discover how the greening of America could change the way we live. The US is at the beginning of a surge toward green energy, powered by the sun, wind, water and even grass, but it will not be enough. The key is clean carbon-free energy, on a huge scale. Friedman explores many sources of carbon-free energy, including some that might sound counter- intuitive, such as coal and nuclear energy. This film examines ways American families can change the world and have the same effect as global giants like Wal-Mart, Google and Texas Instruments.
WALK WITH BISHOP MARC
Saturday, October 13, 2007 — Episcopal Charities’ annual 7.5- or12-mile Walk-a-thon. Episcopal Charities hopes to have representation for all 80 churches in the diocese including youth groups. Lunch, a T-shirt and snacks will be provided. Parish teams of 12 or more receive 25% back from the money they raise for their churches’ outreach ministries. Registration is $35 before September 21 and $45 after. To register and for more information visit www.episcopalcharities.org.
