Church of the Epiphany
San Carlos, California

Stewardship:

The Stewardship Committee is a group of men and women responsible for year-round stewardship education and the implementation of the fall stewardship program. Emphasizing the standard of percentage giving at Epiphany, this group seeks to enhance our individual lives by helping us better understand the value of living generous lives in response to a God who has given us so much.

How much do we give?

The Church of the Epiphany is entirely self-supported; nearly all of our annual budget comes from pledges made by parishioners. Each year we summarize the overall giving by plotting pledge numbers versus amounts:

Fiftieth Year Celebration and Capital Campaign

To commemorate Epiphany's fiftieth anniversary in 1997, the parish will be offering special celebrations of our fifty years of life together, as well as a capital campaign to prepare the church for the next fifty years.

Fund raising

The parish raises money through special efforts such as Scrip sales, an Annual Rummage Sale in May, and a Parish Auction in the fall.

Finance Committee

This committee, which consists of the rector, wardens, treasurers, and other invited guests, develops the annual budget, responds to parish financial needs and advises the Vestry about monetary concerns.
