Special Services
Holy Week
During Holy Week (the week before Easter), special services include
- Holy Eucharist
- a Maundy Thursday meal, commemorating the Last Supper
- the Good Friday Liturgy, and
- the Great Vigil of Easter with Baptisms on Holy Saturday
Thanksgiving Day
A 10:00 am Holy Eucharist is followed by an open-invitation parish meal in the parish hall.
Advent Lessons & Carols
In December, the third or fourth Sunday of Advent is given over to this 18th-century service. Parishioners read the Advent lessons, the choir performs special anthems, and the congregation sings the great hymns and carols of the season.
Christmas
Our traditional Christmas services include
- a 4:00 pm Christmas Eve pageant and Holy Eucharist, with extensive participation by the children of the parish,
- a 10:00 pm Christmas Eve candlelight Eucharist, and
- a quiet 11:00 am Christmas day Holy Eucharist.
