Programs for Adults
The Adult Ministry Committee oversees several Christian Education programs that serve various groups within the parish; these include
- Education for Ministry groups
- Sunday Adult Forums
- an annual Women's Retreat
- a Book Club
- Wednesday night educational series during Advent and Lent
- Inquirer's Classes
Programs for Youth
- Youth Ministry Committee:
This committee of parents, staff and volunteer leaders plans, implements and evaluates the various ministries with and for our teenagers.
- The Junior High Seekers
are the youth group for our teenagers in Junior High School.
- The Senior High Seekers are the Senior High School youth group.
- Confirmation Class for 7- 10th graders meets in the spring to prepare young people to make mature decisions about their adult faith.
Programs for Children
- The Children's Ministry Core Team works with the Director of Children's Ministry to oversee the various groups whose ministries are directed towards our children and their families.
- Infant and nursery care is provided each Sunday between 9:00 & 11:30 am for this growing segment of our parish family. With the assistance of professional aides, parents assume responsibility on a rotating basis. A special committee supervises this ministry.
- The Church School meets at 10:00 am Sunday in the parish hall. It begins with common worship and is followed by regularly scheduled classes. The church school also participates in special events in keeping with the church year. Children and teachers join the larger parish for communion each Sunday. Special committees supervise worship, teacher training and support and curriculum development.
